mich würde interessieren, ob vielleicht jemand einen Polster-Hersteller weiß, den ich noch nicht kenne, bei dem auch auch als Privatperson direkt bestellen kann (meistens nicht möglich), da man über einen Zwischenhändler preislich ordentlich drauflegen muss.
Welche Erfahrungen habt ihr mit Bestellungen? Wo bestellt ihr?
Ich kenne: Pisoni, Prestini, Rigotti, Precision, Foag.

Ich selber kann Precision von musicmedic empfehlen: Trotz USA schnell, unkompliziert, preiswert und trotzdem gute Qualität!

Ich kenne noch Martin Chanu und Top-Tone.
Martin Chanu sollte man woll nur bei ganz planen Tonlöchern nehmen und Top tone ist irgendwas spezielles,irgendwo hier im Forum müsste was darüber stehen.
Aber ich kann TOKO empfelen:Trozt Deutschland schnell,unkompliziert,preiswert und gute Qualität :-D (Ich weiß aber nicht welche Polster Marke
-Da steht nur Premium deluxe drauf).

I hope English is ok for you, my German is very bad to write.

For both clarinet and saxophone I like Music Center pads (Pisoni), but they are slow, and lately I don't get a response from them?!

I just heard about J.L. Smith in USA and they have both Music Center pads but also their own pads which are less expensive. I am going to try their own pads soon.

In USA there is also Ed Myers which make their own pads. I haven't tried these yet, and I don't know their prices (maybe expensive) but I think good quality.

Is there a place in Europe (maybe Germany) that will sell Music Center (Pisoni) pads for clarinet and saxophone? Maybe I will buy from there.

you can order at music center directly, but its hard they are slow, they want dealer papers and you can just order pads in 100s.
thanks for the links, i will have a look there.

some more question: you seem to be a repair technician, right?
how do you become a woodwind repairer in the states? do people graduate at the schools? or do you have to find someone to teach you? here in germany the first qustion is: where did you graduate? without this you dont have the permission to repair for money.

Yes I am a repair technician, mostly clarinets but started saxophones a few months ago also. I am not from USA, but I am from Israel. I don't know how it is in USA. Here in Israel no one cares about repair school, graduation, etc. There is no place to learn repair in my country, so I teach myself with help from books, internet, etc. I work for a store and they never ask me where I learn to repair, as long as repairs are good they don't care
